MonetaryReports is an independent project that builds free, simple money calculators and plain-English guides about saving and interest. We started it because many money calculators are slow, full of jargon or never explain how they reach their numbers.
What we do
We build tools that answer one clear question, such as how much your savings could grow or how much you need to save each month, and we write guides that explain the idea behind each number with tables, charts and worked examples.
How we work
- Checked formulas: every calculator is tested against known examples and public tools, such as the compound interest calculator on Investor.gov, before it goes live. You can read every formula on our How we calculate page.
- Sources and dates: each guide links to the sources it uses and shows when it was last updated.
- No sign-up: the numbers you type into a calculator stay in your browser. We do not store them.
What we are not
We are not financial advisors, and nothing on this site is a recommendation to buy or sell any financial product. Results are estimates for educational purposes. For decisions about your own money, talk to a qualified professional.
